During this year’s

Fall Economic Statement our Liberal team shared the next steps of our plan to keep delivering for the middle class and building an economy that works for all Canadians.

Here are some of the highlights:

✓ Outlining Canada’s Housing Action Plan to build more homes, remove the GST on new-build rental properties, and crack down on short-term rentals

✓ Introducing the first Canada Mortgage Charter

✓ Making mental health care more accessible and affordable to Canadians by removing the GST from psychotherapy and counselling services.

✓ Continuing to crack down on junk fees, including by lowering your bank fees and investigating international mobile roaming rates

✓ Developing a new Employment Insurance adoption benefit, which would provide 15 weeks of shareable benefits to parents.

But the Conservatives? While our team is working hard delivering real progress, Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party have already announced that they would cut all of these important measures. Pierre Poilievre’s economic priorities are to make deep cuts to programs that would gut the middle class, cutting taxes for their wealthy friends, and promoting volatile crypto-currencies that could cost Canadians their life savings – and it’s going to take all of us to stop him.

If you’re able, chip in now to ensure that Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team can continue our work to keep Canada moving forward.
