* Dastardly, devious Colorado Democrat lawmakers ignore voters’ rejection of Prop HH and pass a disguised version. CO GOP Chair Dave Williams runs down the Special Session. The good - grassroots Republican lawmakers fought passionately for straightforward property tax relief. The bad - Democrat lawmakers flexed their majority power and passed a property tax bill that does little to ease the actual burden and gives funds to their pet projects. Also bad - the GOP caucus leadership pushed for increased spending for local governments to be "backfilled” from the General Fund Reserve. Hello… if anyone needs to be “backfilled” it’s taxpayers. And the ugly - radical left Hamas supporters disrupted the proceedings and were joined by Democrat Rep. Elizabeth Epps who delivered an antisemitic rant. In case you were wondering, since they are progressives no one was arrested.
* The Colorado Supreme Court has agreed to take up the case filed by traitor Republicans trying to keep Trump off the ballot. A Denver judge ruled Trump will remain on the ballot but then labeled him an “insurrectionist”. Both sides are appealing.
* No Gold Standard. Despite establishment claims to the contrary, Colorado’s election system wasn’t the gold standard in 2020 and it isn’t the gold standard now. Ron Hanks, Chair of the CO GOP Ballot and Election Security Committee explains the same election integrity issues remain. And he urges the canvass boards to send a message to partisan hack SoS Griswold and refuse to certify the 2023 election.
