Did you know - we hit pause on all non-essential roadworks on major routes in the city and across the whole city centre from 24 November and in the run up to Christmas until the new year to help #KeepNottinghamMoving.
Urgent work (such as burst pipes and gas leaks) may still occur but planned works on our busier roads will now wait until the new yearÂ
- Until Saturday 25 November: Road closure for culvert cleansing works by Severn Trent Water on Lower Parliament StreetÂ
- Until Friday 1 December: 2-way traffic lights on Thane Road outside Sportsleague for utilities works
- Until Tuesday 2 January 2024: Parking bay suspension in 50metre intervals on Cliff Road, Castle for Severn Trent Water works
- Until Sunday 28 April 2024: Lane closure 24 hours on Glasshouse Street and 9.30am - 3.30pm on Lower Parliament Street for development works
- Until 29 August 2024: Road closure on Howard Street, St Ann's for construction works
- Until 31 March 2025: Parking bay suspension and partial road closure on Kent Street, St Ann's for construction works
- Until Thursday 31 July 2025:Â Road closure of Thackeray Street and Parking bay suspension on Denman Street East, Highurst Street & Boden Street for new development
