Happy Thanksgiving! This year, we are grateful to have fought alongside each Culinary Union member to win the BEST CONTRACT EVER!
After 7 months of intense negotiations, and under the threat of the largest hospitality worker strike in U.S. history, we have settled contracts for 40,000 unionized hospitality workers in Las Vegas.
This year, the Culinary Union celebrates our 88-year-anniversary of fighting and winning for working families in Nevada and we are pleased to announce: All three contract ratification votes were overwhelmingly successful as tens of thousands of workers voted to accept the BEST CONTRACT EVER!
VICTORY! Workers voted to accept and ratify the new five-year contract:
*Caesars Entertainment workers voted by 99%!
*MGM Resorts workers voted by 99%!
*Wynn Resorts workers voted by 99%!
We aren't done fighting for workers! There are 10,000 Strip Independent and Downtown workers and 24 more union contracts to win so that ONE JOB IS ENOUGH. We'll be in touch soon with negotiation updates.
24 casino-resort companies are still under a contract extension and in active negotiations for a new five-year union contract:
*Las Vegas Strip: Circus Circus, Four Seasons, Hilton Grand Vacations, Mirage, Rio, Sahara Las Vegas, Strat, Treasure Island, Tropicana, Trump Hotel Las Vegas, Virgin Hotels, Waldorf Astoria, and Westgate.
*Downtown Las Vegas: Binion鈥檚, Circa, Downtown Grand, El Cortez, Four Queens, Fremont, Golden Gate, Golden Nugget, Main Street, The D Casino, and Plaza.

Despu茅s de 7 meses de intensas negociaciones, y bajo la amenaza de la mayor huelga de trabajadores de la hospitalidad en la historia de los EE.UU., hemos conseguido contratos para 40.000 trabajadores de hospitalidad uni贸n en Las Vegas.
