This isn't a donation ask. I only wanted to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving, from my family to yours.

As I spend time with my loved ones today, I can't help but think of the all the families in HD-22 and across our state who are struggling.

Some Florida families can't gather in their homes because their homeowner's insurance won't cover hurricane damage repairs.

LGBTQIA+ folks may not have place where they feel safe to be themselves during the holidays.

There are children and teens killed by gun violence missing from the Thanksgiving dinner table.

Floridians might even be skipping dinner altogether because a holiday dinner is a luxury they just can't afford.

To anyone who is hurting, I am thinking of you today and every day. I promise to keep up the fight to make this state a place where you and your loved ones can thrive. You're the reason I keep going.

And to those of you who fight alongside me, I am so grateful for you. I couldn't do this without you.
