Hello, John—

This is Tamie—and I just want to thank you for all of your support and wish you a happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love cooking for my family and sitting and talking with everyone. It’s such a special time of year to me.

This year I am even more grateful. For starters, I am lucky to still have both of my parents. My dad is in his 83 and still works 7 days a week, so if you wonder where I get my work ethic from it’s him. I’m especially thankful to still have my mom. As some of you know she has cancer, but she’s a strong woman, so she’s still hangin in there. I’m also grateful for my brother and sister. They are so supportive and amazing, there aren’t enough words to express how I feel about them. And of course my son, Anthony. He has been a complete blessing ever since I found out I was pregnant with him. He’s a man now, so it’s interesting to watch him find his way in the world.

And then there’s you, my supporters. You keep me full of strength in ways you don’t even know. I am so fired up and ready to go, you have no idea! Thank you for supporting me since we launched this campaign to defeat Jim Jordan. And, thank you for giving your time, effort, and financial contributions to this grassroots effort to flip this district. We can do so much better, and I bring that positive message to the voters and residents of my district everyday, encouraging them to fight for change!

Now, we are just under a year away from Election Day and I’m more confident than ever about our chances to flip this seat because of the surge of support from you and so many others. You are awesome!
