Happy Thanksgiving, friend! 

Family time, pumpkin pie, stuffing, sweet potatoes, our service members and first responders – these are just a few of the things I'm feeling grateful for today. But before I log off to enjoy the day (and a delicious meal) with my family, I had to take a second to let you know how grateful I am to you for being a part of my team.

When I launched this campaign six months ago, a lot of people told me not to bother. They said a Democrat didn't have a chance in Texas – even one with a history of bipartisanship. But thanks to folks like you and more than 150,000 others who believed in me and have chipped in their time, money, and support, we’re on track to build the largest grassroots movement in Texas history.

✅ Together, we've outraised Ted Cruz two quarters in a row.
✅ We've gotten experts to change their rankings, naming Texas Democrats' best pickup opportunity.
✅ We've traveled all across the state to meet with voters, and we've pulled within 5 points of Cruz in the polls.

I have no doubt the road ahead will be long and challenging, but together, I know we're gonna win this thing, friend. And when we win and replace Ted Cruz with a leader who's ready to listen to Texans and get things done, that victory will belong to all of us.
