Those of us at the Constitutional Republic Party would like to extend our heartfelt wishes to you for a Happy Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is about coming together, something we as American’s need to think about. America was built as a melting pot, people from different backgrounds coming together in the pursuit of opportunity and freedom, that was what bound the people of this country. Anything that runs contrary to these two principles are totally unamerican in our view. Government should never restrict either of these things unless it is to protect them (IE you cannot use your freedom to limit others options by force).
We are thankful for a country that was built on opportunity and freedom and at the same time, know we have to continue to fight for it for everyone in this country. Slavery and abuse of the Native Americans was not inline with those principles, we were not perfect, we are still a work in progress, which is why we are needed in the Constitutional Republic Party. We need to fight against regulations that limit our opportunity in small businesses, we need to fight for everyone’s right to live their lives as they see fit and not be forced to conform to another’s world view. We need to fight against our tax dollars going to fund special interests and corporate benefits, after all, are we really free if our hard-earned income to taken for us to benefit them?
There was a cartoon during the Obama area, showing the skinny cow, that represented the taxpayers and President Obama coming to milk her for all the special interests. It is funny because it is true, the milker can be any politician of any major party for the most part, they actually see us at the milk cows to be harvested for their special interests, those who keep them in office and in power. They do so by limiting our opportunity and freedoms to benefit them and milking us for the resources to ensure that those “too big to fail” can not.
Enjoy today, be thankful for what we have, but know we must continue our fight to ensure that those opportunities and freedoms as there for those who come after us.
