For over 35 years, Egale has been a leader in the ongoing mission to improve the lives of 2SLGBTQI people in Canada and around the world. 

In 2023, with the rise in anti-2SLGBTQI and anti-trans hate, it has been so important for Egale to amplify community voices, raise awareness about the rise in hate, and call upon Canadian institutions and systems to act now.

By conducting research, building educational tools and resources, raising awareness about the issues our communities are facing, and engaging in legal advocacy, we are combatting hate and violence against 2SLGBTQI folks.
