John, Happy Thanksgiving!

If you’re like me, you’re probably getting excited to eat — especially if you did a Turkey Trot this morning. We’re cooking together as a family today, and I can’t wait to sit down and enjoy the food and each other.

But before we dig in, I wanted to reach out personally to say: thank you.

Together, we’re building a movement to make Maryland a state where every single person and family can thrive. On this holiday, I want to deeply express my sincere gratitude toward every single one of you who played a part in electing me last year.

I’ve been deeply humbled by the support you’ve shown me, and I am honored to have spent the last year working to better the lives of all the families across Maryland who are gathering together today.
