Dear Friend,
Thanksgiving is the perfect time to take stock of what we're truly thankful for. While there are many challenges facing our nation and Congress appears to be more divided than ever, this Thanksgiving it is my sincere hope Americans focus on that which ties us together.
We are bound by the belief that we're all created equal and endowed by our creator with inalienable rights like life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We know we're free to work hard to achieve the American Dream, serve our communities and enjoy the freedoms our troops fought bravely to defend.
As my wife Amy and I reflect on this Thanksgiving, we're grateful for our family, our friends and to live in this great country. We are also deeply grateful to our military who choose to leave their families to protect the liberties we cherish. I pray you and your family have a safe, peaceful and warm holiday.
It's an honor to serve you in Congress. Please take a moment to complete my latest constituent survey here. Your feedback helps me better represent you. For more information or to sign up for my e-newsletter, please visit my website, franklin.house.gov.
Best regards,
C. Scott Franklin Member of Congress
