Dear John,

This year is a very special Thanksgiving for me — I have a lot more to be thankful for than usual.

Because of your support, I have the privilege of serving in the U.S. House of Representatives for the people in the place I love most in the world: Rhode Island.

At this time of reflection, I am grateful for so many people who make my story — and our Rhode Island story — possible. From service members who ensure our freedom to small businesses who form the backbone of our economy to caregivers of all forms, we are built of the hard work and resilience that makes us all stronger.

It has been a whirlwind opening our Pawtucket and Washington, D.C. offices, participating in local and national news interviews, and hitting the ground running on addressing our District’s priorities. I am heartened by the words of encouragement that so many have shared.

So, thank you. I am so excited to work for you. I wish you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving!
