All morning right-wing blowhards rushed to join the frenzy blaming President Biden and "woke" Democrats for border policies that supposedly enabled this "attack" on our country, even prompting calls for — you guessed it — a northern border wall. The only problem? Video released Wednesday afternoon clearly showed the "attack" was actually just a Bentley traveling at a high rate of speed that lost control and literally flew into the border crossing infrastructure, sadly killing both occupants instantly in a fiery wreck. Expect retractions and full-throated apologies in five, four, thr—oh, never mind.

Specialized equipment is being deployed to conduct air monitoring in the area,” the train operator, CSX, said in a statement. While the train operator's transparent communications (thus far) is laudable, it is simply inexcusable that dangerous train derailments are still occurring so regularly in the United States of America.
