As a candidate for Denver District Attorney, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to engage with so many different voices in our city and to learn from the breadth and depth of our community's experiences.  My vision for a safer, more equitable Denver is inspired by these conversations and the need for justice that respects and honors all our residents.

As I talk to more and more people around Denver, what strikes me is this great city’s resilience, despite challenges like gun violence, a wave of substance abuse and addiction, and the aftereffects of the pandemic.  We have much work to do to make Denver safer and more just, but this community is capable of great things.

Like so many of you, too, I am especially thankful for my family. Their love and guidance remind me daily of the importance of our work in building a community where every family can thrive – and remind me of the responsibility that comes with public service.

This Thanksgiving, let's celebrate by acknowledging our complex history, appreciating our progress, and working together for a future of justice and safety for all.
