It’s time for our politicians to choose a side. Being a champion for comprehensive health care reform means rejecting dirty money from lobbying groups like the PAHCF.

National Nurses United

As the spread of the coronavirus shows now more than ever, there is so much at stake if we don’t fix our broken health care system. But corporate-lobbying groups like the Partnership for America’s Health Care Future (PAHCF) are still trying to halt our progress and buy off our politicians with millions in lobbying dollars.

That’s why we recently launched the Patients Over Profits pledge to get as many elected officials as possible to reject money from pharma and insurance corporations associated with the Partnership – but in order to get as many politicians as possible to sign it, we need your help.

Today we're officially launching our public petition, and we need to get 50,000 signatures to build the pressure and force our politicians to choose a side.

Will you sign our petition urging your elected officials to sign the Patients Over Profits pledge and reject campaign contributions from these pharma and insurance corporations?

For decades, insurance and pharma behemoths have profited off our illnesses and are continuing to do so in the midst of the rapid spread of the coronavirus. Our need for a robust Medicare for All system could not be more clearly demonstrated. The for-profit health care system maintains the status quo by lining Congress’ pockets with hundreds of millions of dollars every election cycle. It must stop now.

To those who have already stepped up to help lead this work in your community – thank you. Now we need a mass number of people to sign this petition to show the national support behind this pledge.

Pharma and insurance money is corrupting our political system and blocking the single-payer health care system we need. Will you add your name and help pressure more elected officials to sign the pledge?

Any politician that accepts money from PAHCF is a part of this corrupt system and risks not being able to be trusted to put the interests of patients first.

This is a key moment in our fight. Politicians need to know that we’re not just working to elect a Medicare for All champion in the White House. We will pressure every mayor, state senator, and congressperson to stand with us and get special interest money out of our politics.

Thank you for speaking out.
