This is Congressman Rick Allen, wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving holiday. As your Representative, I remain deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me to continue serving you in Washington. However, the true purpose of Thanksgiving is to pause and reflect on our many shared blessings, the special moments spent with family and loved ones, and most importantly, our relationship with the Lord our God.

Despite the chaos and challenges occurring across the world, we have plenty to be thankful for. This year’s holiday should remind us of the importance of coming together, setting aside our differences, and celebrating our shared values. Let us rejoice in that opportunity, and in doing so, give thanks to God – for He is the source of all blessings.
