Thanksgiving gives us time to pause and give thanks for the blessings in our lives and for the incredible opportunities and freedoms this great nation provides. It's our collective responsibility to uphold the values of honor, integrity, and compassion to ensure that our nation continues to flourish for future generations.

As we give thanks for the gifts of family, friends, and good health, our gratitude also extends to the dedicated servicemen and women who are spending Thanksgiving away from their families, tirelessly safeguarding our nation at home and abroad. I feel a personal connection to their sacrifice through my son Trey, a captain in the U.S. Marine Reserves. Representing the brave individuals in our Armed Forces, including over 46,000 veterans in the 24^th Congressional District, is a privilege that I hold in the highest regard, and I remain dedicated to serving our veterans and active duty military members in Congress.

To all of NY-24, my family and I extend our warmest wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving filled with joy and gratitude.
