In our work, I see the depravity of humanity and the darkness of our culture. We deal with difficult realities, hard hearts, and pure evil. I see it firsthand, but, for most, even a general understanding of our cultural hostility to righteousness is enough to make one’s stomach churn.


Yet, today, we give thanks. 


We give thanks because we serve a good God and one who is on the throne and in control.


We give thanks because He reminds us that we are aliens and sojourners in this world and that He has prepared a glorious home for us.


We give thanks because – despite all the darkness around us – we still live in a blessed country and enjoy rights and freedoms that are rare in the course of human history.


We give thanks because He has called us for such a time and such a place as this – putting us in a unique moment and equipping us for every good work.


We give thanks because He empowers us to affect change for His glory, and He supplies hope and victories according to His plans and purposes.


And, we give thanks because He has given us a life that we do not simply endure, but instead it is a life that we can enjoy due to the blessings of family, friends, and the wonders of what He has made.
Today, I wish you and your family a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving celebrating all that He has done. As you read this, I pray that you are also filled with the knowledge of how grateful we, at Frontline, are for you.


Your prayers, encouragement, and support mean the world to this organization and to my family. May He shower His blessings upon you and yours for your faithfulness!
