Serving in elected office was never meant to be a career. The Constitution was based on the idea of citizen legislators who believed in public service and were accountable to the communities they represented.

Combined, Nancy Pelosi, Jerry Nadler and Adam Schiff have served 84 years in Congress.

This is why I strongly support term limits. I believe they are the best mechanism to end the era of career politicians and fight corruption in the Washington Swamp.
