As the founder of VoteRiders, I am grateful for YOU because your support forms the foundation of all our success on behalf of voters and our democracy.
Because of YOU, we are able to help voters secure an ID and with it, their most foundational right in our country: the freedom to vote.
In recent years, we’ve seen an explosion in voter ID laws. New and stricter voter ID laws have greatly expanded these widespread barriers for eligible voters. The ever-changing landscape of voter ID laws also creates confusion for voters who will often stay home instead of risk being turned away, shamed, or intimidated for not having the correct form of ID at the polls. In response, VoteRiders scaled up our work this year to reach millions of voters with accurate information and free, one-on-one help.
On this day of reflection and gratitude, I am deeply thankful for the thousands of volunteers, partners, supporters, and donors who make our critical work possible.
