I wanted to send a quick note to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be in this race for Congress, and for the support of people like you.

I’m especially grateful for my family–my husband Rob and our two boys–for supporting me in this journey.

While many are celebrating Thanksgiving today, many indigenous Americans consider this a day of mourning. So this weekend, in addition to being thankful, I will be reflecting on the continued work ahead to improve the lives of everyone in the 8th. Join me in recognizing Native American Heritage Day tomorrow and respecting these perspectives.
