John, It’s been a rough week. People are panicked by the coronavirus, and the market has plummeted. Many cities here and around the world will likely feel the negative economic impacts for years to come. In the face of this global pandemic, Rep. Nadler reportedly proposed Congress members ‘going home’ from D.C. to stay safe. Speaker Pelosi quickly shut that idea down stating, “We are the captains of the ship. We are the last to leave.” Rep. Nadler’s idea to shutter the Capitol is disappointing at a time when we need leadership the most.
