T-minus 37 minutes, Taxpayer. And we’re still about $1,650 under budget. 

The NIH recently purchased the “Bethesda Boys” for blood poisoning and septic shock experiments. As of 11:23 pm EST, these beagles are still alive!  

However, if we come up short, NIH will kill these two dogs and stuff their bodies inside a refrigerator.
