Giving Tuesday Is Just Around the Corner: We hope you and your loved ones are gearing up for a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with great food, laughter, and love. All of us at Independent Women’s Forum are beyond grateful for you. 🦃
This year, Independent Women’s Forum has stood up for women and advanced policies that expand freedom and help save America. We have driven thousands of actions, testified over 70 times, and told powerful stories about real people who are being hurt by those who seek to marginalize women as a matter of policy and erase them in the law. We’ve had many landmark victories but must continue to build on this great momentum. With your continued support, we will embark on a new wave of impact in 2024.
A generous, principled investor has agreed to MATCH every dollar you contribute between now and December 31 — up to $125,000! And every dollar you donate is tax-deductible.
Thank you for standing with women and making our work possible.

The 25-year-old enfant terrible of a feminist discourse that focused on women’s victimization at the hands of men, Roiphe argued that, in the sexual realm, feminists should celebrate liberation and accept responsibility, not seek protection and embrace victimhood. ------------------------------------------------------------
Thanksgiving, a beloved American holiday ranking second in spending only to Christmas, faces a concerning challenge—the impact of inflation on the nation’s economy from escalating federal spending. According to CNBC, Thanksgiving represents 13.4% of holiday spending, with Americans splurging an estimated $1.1 billion on festivities in 2022. Despite an overall decrease in Thanksgiving meal costs since 2022, the lingering effects of inflation are keeping prices astronomically high and higher than in 2021. Read More ([link removed])

“Banned” Books Week has passed, but PEN America still continues to push inaccurate rhetoric, claiming books that parents raise questions about, including books that contain sexually explicit, pornographic material, are “banned” from schools. Just a few days ago, the singer Pink joined with PEN America to give away “banned” books at Florida concerts. One of the books is “Beloved,” which was on Green Apple Books’ Banned and Challenged Book List of 2023. These books are not actually banned. They are still widely available at bookstores and online, even if they are rightly restricted from school libraries because of their inappropriate content for young children.
