Happy Holidays Young Democrats,

As we’re getting ready to spend time with our loved ones, I wanted to thank you all for joining us at our Convention this past weekend. We’re excited to share that we had nearly 20% more Young Democrats join us in Sacramento compared to last Convention, we’re chartering more chapters, we had a great set of trainings, we had an Awards Luncheon to honor our champions, and we had a CYD alumni reception to reconnect our CYD family. We’re picking up momentum to make sure we defeat MAGA extremists decisively in 2024.

As many of you are aware, we were not able to convene our General Session at Convention. Therefore, pursuant to our bylaws, we will be conducting an internet vote starting November 26, Sunday 10:00 a.m. and ending December 3, Sunday 11:59 p.m. This vote will include options to approve a set of endorsements recommended by our regions and political affairs committee, excluding the US Senate endorsement, and to approve our newly chartered chapters. We will also be adding Young Democrat Central Committee candidates to this internet vote, so if you’re running for Central Committee and want our support, it’s not too late to get our endorsement. If you’re interested in our endorsement for Central Committee, please email our Political Director Navkaran Gurm at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) by no later than this Friday.
