Friend, we hope you’re looking forward to the holiday tomorrow.

We definitely are. And we’re thinking of the women and men who won’t be able to spend time with their families and loved ones tomorrow — the folks who are serving overseas. So, as you celebrate, make sure you keep them in your thoughts.

Generations of Americans fought to preserve our Constitution and our democratic way of life. They still do.

But Trump’s campaign, the potential of his second presidential term, and his outright authoritarian bent — calling political opponents “vermin” and driving to root them out — is dangerous. It’s a threat to our democracy itself.

The Greatest Generation didn’t fight dictators like Mussolini and Hitler for one to march into the presidency.

And it won’t happen if we have anything to say about it.

We’ll mobilize Veterans around the country to speak out against him and his ugly brand of authoritarianism. We’ll run ads that can win in swing states and get voters to the polls.

But we can’t do any of that without your support.
