Dear Friends and Supporters:
Over the last days and weeks, we have seen the tragic consequences of violent shootings in our country, which have left communities shattered and devastated. In Gilroy, El Paso and Dayton, we mourn with the families of the victims and remain resolute in our commitment to combat the scourge of extremism in our society.
The tragic shooting in El Paso was the

deadliest white supremacist attack in more than 50 years and serves as an unfortunate reminder of the ongoing threat of white supremacy. Our new blog post,

Table Talk – Gun Violence and Mass Shootings
Our work remains more important than ever, and we know thoughts and prayers are not enough. ADL is calling on the White House to fully engage the capabilities of the Department of Homeland Security, as well as the FBI and other law enforcement agencies, to devote more resources to analyzing domestic terrorism threats, and for Congress to take action on legislation that would mandate this approach in the future.
We each have a role to play in fighting for safe and secure communities across our country, and we are grateful that you continue to stand with us in fighting hate for good.
Sincerely,
Doron F. Ezickson
ADL Washington, D.C. Regional Director
