The DelBene Download

John,

Last week, our nation came within days of another government shutdown because extremists in the MAGA caucus refused to govern.

Thankfully, hundreds of thousands of federal workers will continue to receive their paychecks and critical services Americans depend on will remain available because Democrats stepped up and delivered.

To be clear, keeping our government open is the bare minimum Congress can and must do for the American people. Democrats are prepared to do more—a lot more—to lower costs and deliver progress for working families, but we will have to retake our House majority to get it done.

My commitment to retaking our majority is intractable, and as DCCC chair, I am working relentlessly in every district to make sure we do exactly that next November.

In the meantime, I will continue to work alongside my colleagues to negotiate a deal to fund our government while defending our fundamental rights and freedoms from the MAGA caucus hellbent on stripping them away.

Check out the latest from WA-01 and the campaign, then, if you can chip in any amount to help retake our majority so Democrats can start getting the real work done.

Thanks for everything,

Suzan
