"NIH...researchers induced septic shock in beagles with pneumonia, sometimes causing hemorrhaging and lung problems."
— Washington Post
Taxpayer, did you read about beagle #4817321 below?
What about dog #6799255? If not, do it now. Like right now.
BAD NEWS: The NIH is going to abuse the “Bethesda Boys” in lethal blood poisoning experiments.
GOOD NEWS: Both dogs are still alive! My team obtained an official NIH census proving it.
BUT AS I WRITE THIS: The NIH is planning to cut their throats, kill them, and bury the bodies in a government fridge. My team also confirmed it.
SOLUTION: Our rapid response campaign will rally Congress to cut payout #ZIACL090026 and help free the Bethesda Boys.
EXTREMELY URGENT: The NIH just purchased another fresh batch of specimens from a puppy mill!
11:59 PM DEADLINE: We’re falling short by over $15,987. Unless our abysmal fundraising pace turns around, you can expect two more dead dogs in a refrigerator.
Taxpayer, puppies don’t belong in labs! They don’t belong in the refrigerator, either. Let’s save the Bethesda Boys before it's too late.
Thanks,
Daniel López Director, Research & Investigations |
Taxpayer, support for our new campaign is just terrible.
Perhaps folks aren’t fired up about the Bethesda Boys because the experiment is “for science.” Or maybe they’re giving NIH a pass because it’s idolized by the media?
Well, I don’t think it’s ever OK for a dog to be burned in a laboratory!
I know you agree, too: what happened to Cletus (see below) is a total abomination.
We’re fighting to save two more beagles from another tragic fate at this same lab.
The deadline to help us fund our rapid response campaign is 37 HOURS. Even $2—just one dollar for each dog—will help.
Thanks,
Avery Kron Campaign Assistant |
