Dear friend,

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday, and every year at this time I’m reminded of Connecticut Governor Wilbur Cross’ 1936 Thanksgiving Proclamation. Indeed, we’ve come “by a way that we did not know to the end of another year” – a challenging, surprising year – and yet I’m glad to have come this way with you, friend.

This Thanksgiving and every day, I’m most thankful for the people in my life, from my husband, sons and daughters-in-law, and our grandchildren – to our broader family, friends, and community.

To my constituents and supporters – I count you among my many blessings. Thank you for your support and confidence in me.

It is one of the greatest privileges of my life to serve in Congress – even when we are challenged by difficult times and out-of-touch leadership. There is much work yet to be done, and heading into what’s sure to be a contentious 2024, I’m so thankful to have you on this team.
