This reasonable push to spare the lives of innocent civilians, which polling indicates is squarely in the center of American public opinion, has been met with ferocious opposition from AIPAC-friendly politicians, and AIPAC itself is now threatening to primary progressive Congressmembers calling for peace.
AIPAC is one of the most powerful special interest groups in American politics and it’s pledging to spend $100 million against progressive candidates in 2024.
