This Thanksgiving I'm filled with gratitude thinking of my friends, family, our community, and this incredible grassroots team.

Your belief in me and our shared values have been the driving force behind my journey, and for that I am eternally grateful.

But while some of us will gather with family and friends to indulge in Thanksgiving festivities tomorrow, it's easy to forget that not everyone is as fortunate.

Earlier this week I joined members of our community at the Families in Transition Annual Breakfast to support their critical work providing housing, emergency shelter, substance misuse treatment, and food programs to those in need, and I had the opportunity to lend a helping hand at the annual Toys for Tots Kick-Off event.

Team, as we dive into the holiday season, I encourage those who can to consider ways in which you can lend a helping hand to those who may be facing challenges. Whether it's donating or volunteering your time, every small effort counts. Let's make this holiday season not just about our own joy but also about spreading kindness to those who could use a little extra support.
