This time of the year has always been one of our favorite times, mainly because we love taking the time to reflect and express gratitude for the community that made 2023 special. And that community includes all of YOU!

This year, we are especially grateful to you - the supporters, candidates, alums, donors, and so many more who have championed and supported Emerge New Mexico. Thanks to you:

We get to recruit, train, and support Democratic women and non-binary leaders across our state who want to make New Mexico better for all people. This year, we graduated our 17th class of 29 phenomenal Democratic women and non-binary leaders.
We get to hold celebratory events, from a welcome reception for the Class of 2023 to our phenomenal Wine & Chocolate Gala. Our community also celebrated two amazing leaders who received the Emerging Woman and Women of the Year awards, New Mexico State Representative Linda Serrato and New Mexico Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver, respectively.
We get to support alums running for office. In following our tradition, volunteers hand-made and delivered heartfelt yard signs to celebrate our 16 alums. Also, we saw a 63% win rate among our alums in the 2023 New Mexico Regular Local Election, and a run off.
