 Dear Neighbor,
Here?s wishing you a happy Thanksgiving, a holiday where we reflect on our lives and express gratitude for our countless blessings.
No question, it is easy to become preoccupied with challenges and responsibilities we face every day, often overlooking the countless reasons we have to be grateful. That?s what makes Thanksgiving so important as a good reminder to pause, display gratitude, and acknowledge all that is good in our lives. It?s a time to put the daily grind aside, enjoying a sense of unity and togetherness as we gather with families and friends to share warmth and, yes, a feast.
May this Thanksgiving be a time of reflection, appreciation, and joy for you and your family. And may this holiday inspire us all to maintain a strong sense of gratitude that lasts beyond the holiday.
Let?s also keep in mind the people who are unable to share Thanksgiving with their own families because they are working on our behalf. Thank you to law enforcement officers, fire fighters and members of our armed forces. Thank you also to our farmers, transporters and others who make sure we have food on the table and other daily necessities within reach.
Have a great Thanksgiving and please be safe out on the roads. We?ll get back into legislative issues soon and, until then, please stay in touch.
Sincerely,
Shane
