CAPITOL CAMPUS UPDATE
Sediment survey happening on Capitol Lake

*Scope & Impact: *Small motored boats will be visible on Capitol Lake completing a survey of underwater sediment, called a bathymetric survey.
*Where:* On and around Capitol Lake.
*When:* Monday, Nov. 27 - Wednesday, Nov. 29.
*Why: *As part of the Deschutes Estuary Restoration Project [ [link removed] ], DES is conducting a survey to provide information on the depth and shape of the underwater landscape to help the team see how much and where sediment is occurring. DES will use this information to help inform the design of the restoration project.
"All work is weather dependent. The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services has contracted with FLOYD | SNIDER of Seattle, Washington for this effort."
