This is an chance to change your health insurance plan or enroll for the first time. There are a wide variety of plans, including some with financial assistance, so you and your family can be prepared for any health emergencies. You Have Until December 7th. | In addition to health insurance, the Open Enrollment period for Medicare beneficiares runs from October 15 to December 7. If you haven't already, now is the time to review your plan to ensure it provides the best care and value. You have the option to switch between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans, or adjust your prescription drug coverage. Detailed assistance and information is available at Medicare.gov. | PACT Act Benefits for Veterans Still Available! | Last year, House Democrats passed, and President Biden signed, the PACT Act into law. This landmark bill significantly enhanced benefits and simplified access to health care and disability benefits for Veterans exposed to toxic burn pits. To date, the VA has processed almost 500,000 claims and delivered more than $1.8 billion in earned benefits to Veterans and their survivors.
