John,Congress narrowly avoided a government shutdown last week — the second time in two months.

While I’m happy that we managed to avoid a situation that would unnecessarily hurt American families and our economy, I’m angry that this type of chaos has become the norm under MAGA Republican control.

When MAGA Republicans pushed us to the brink of shutdown — it’s Democrats who have remained united and done everything in their power to keep the government open and keep our promises to the American people.

John, MAGA Republicans have proven they cannot be trusted to govern!

When you helped us win back the White House in 2020, we put our heads down and went to work for the American people.

We lowered the cost of prescription drugs. We passed a once-in-a-generation infrastructure bill that made historic investments in everything from clean water to broadband access. And we passed the first piece of major gun safety legislation in nearly 30 years.

Meanwhile, Republicans have let chaos reign this term. Let’s not forget their abrupt Speaker ousting, leaving the House without a GOP leader for nearly four weeks last month.

Enough is enough.

Our communities sent us to Congress to deliver results. To create good-paying jobs and bring down the cost of living. To support working families and defend our freedoms.

We must put our foot down to put an end to this extreme majority’s grip on Congress. Meeting our November fundraising goal is a step toward doing just that.

Republicans grandstand. Democrats put people over politics. So I’m asking for your support to put our team and Democrats ahead. John, will you chip into our campaign to ensure we have the resources we need to win reelection, grow our majority, and deliver for the American people?
