Pennsylvania voters went to the polls on Nov. 7 to elect new judges to sit on multiple statewide courts. These judges will make decisions that influence major issues such as election administration, abortion law, and redistricting, as well as weigh in on smaller-scale cases involving child custody, probation, and business disputes. To understand how these elected officials will impact the state, Spotlight PA held a free panel on the results, which include New Pennsylvania Project CEO Kadida Kenner.

The New Pennsylvania Project, in partnership with The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, as well as 1Hood Power, will be hosting a community conversation on the current state of our federal judiciary on Tuesday, November 28th from 6:00PM-8:00PM in Pittsburgh.
Topics will include an overview of our federal courts, the historic number of highly qualified, diverse, and fair-minded judges recently confirmed by our senators, the remaining judicial vacancies in Pennsylvania and on the Third Circuit, and the ongoing need for a binding ethical code of conduct for Supreme Court justices.
