DACA is likely headed back to the Supreme Court… for the second time. 🥴
Two months ago, Judge Hanen doubled down on his decision against DACA. New applications will still not be accepted, and now the case will likely go all the way to the Supreme Court.
We’ve won at the Supreme Court before, but with new Justices and the Court moving further right every year, we can’t predict the outcome or rely on the courts to save us. The only thing we can rely on is our community’s ability to fight for the future we deserve.
No matter what the Court says, we know that DACA is right and legal. And we’ll continue fighting for permanent protections for ALL 11 million undocumented people, including the folks DACA left behind, because DACA was never more than a band-aid solution.
