In case you missed it, I spent last weekend in beautiful Detroit, Michigan. Now, I’m no stranger to Michigan -- I have family there whom I visit often and I’ve been a big Detroit Tigers fan since I was a kid. But I wasn’t there to catch a baseball game…

I was there to campaign for my friend, Joe!

Throughout the weekend, wherever we went, you could feel the energy and the excitement building. It has become clear that Joe Biden is the “enthusiasm” candidate-- he’s the guy who is driving up turnout all across the country, firing up crowds and bringing new friends into the fold.

The cherry on top was seeing his former rivals, Senator Cory Booker and Senator Kamala Harris, come together to support him at a rally in Detroit on Monday night.

We’re uniting behind Joe because Joe is the candidate who can bring folks together -- even folks who don’t always agree on everything. He’s the candidate who can bring us together to defeat Donald Trump in November.
