Hey John, Natalie here, Becca’s campaign manager.

Here on Team Becca, we send emails to communicate with our supporters and to raise money. I know that emails that ask for money can be bothersome. But I want you to know that it is because of our grassroots supporters like you that Becca can focus on her work for Vermonters, and not on raising money on the phone.

But I am here to say that we are giving you a break from fundraising emails during the holidays. This means that you won’t hear a peep from us starting Thursday through Saturday, except to wish you a happy Thanksgiving, while you spend time with family and friends.

This is a huge priority for us, but it certainly comes at a cost. Missing three days of fundraising may not sound like a lot, but it can make a big dent in our fundraising for the month. So in order to make sure that we can give our supporters a break from fundraising requests AND stay on track, I’ve set a goal of raising $5,000 via email starting now through tomorrow night.

Hitting this goal is critically important, so I’m asking: Will you donate $27 or whatever you can swing to Becca’s re-election campaign?
