Today’s Conservative Government
death rattle and barely disguised bungs from the Chancellor mean
an election is coming. Those of us who want change
must be ready.
The announcements come after thirteen years of Conservative
government which, despite inflicting the highest tax burden on working
people since the second world war, has seen living standards fall,
public services crumble, poverty increase and the economy
stagnate.
Tories always cut taxes before they call an election and
today the Chancellor said a cut in National Insurance will take effect
from January rather than from the beginning of the new fiscal year in
April. That's why I'm telling our team and supporters that we need to
get into election mode now:
