Hello -- A global health pandemic is unfolding, causing whole cities to go under quarantine and shaking up the U.S. and global economies. But Trump is spending more time attacking Democrats than addressing the crisis because he's worried the virus will cost him this election.

Trump has falsely claimed that this coronavirus would miraculously disappear on its own. His denial will only cause confusion and harm, compounded by the damage he's done to our public health institutions, including putting unqualified people and Big Pharma execs in key administration positions. If Trump's re-elected, things will only get worse -- not just the deterioration of our institutions, but the assault on truth and facts.

When Ebola broke out, Obama didn't attack Republicans. Instead, he led the federal government and the international community to contain the epidemic and save countless lives. We can have a government that works again if Democrats turn out to vote this November.

Women, young people, people of color, and progressive whites led Obama to victory. But we lost in 2016 because voter turnout was down from 2008. In fact, Trump won Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin by only 77,000 votes thanks to lower turnout and GOP voter suppression.
