Just in this past year alone, supporters:

Equipped 90,000 people through the GLAAD Media Institute with media savvy to take on transphobia, homophobia, racism, and misogyny

Made the internet safer for LGBTQ youth. Our Social Media Safety Program has gotten some of the most violent anti-LGBTQ accounts suspended, demonetized, or banned across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X/Twitter.

Inspired the first transgender female hero in an Apex Legend Video Game through GLAAD’s new Gaming initiative.

Pushed the FDA to roll back bans so sexually active gay men can give lifesaving blood.

Fostered the highest percentage of LGBTQ characters in film, including an increase in LGBTQ characters of color and record high numbers of nonbinary and transgender characters

Ensured our stories are told authentically, by advising 75% of Hollywood's major talent agencies and consulting on nearly 600 studios' films and TV shows
