AFSC staff in Gaza delivering humanitarian relief. |
Dear John,
“Thank you all for all what you are doing in these extremely difficult times.”
That’s a message we recently received from an AFSC team member in the Middle East.
And today I want to say the same to you and everyone in the AFSC community who has donated, written letters, made calls, attended events, and joined us in other ways. The level of support we have seen for our advocacy and our humanitarian efforts in Gaza is unprecedented. And it is not the first time our global community has responded to an emergency in the past year.
Together we helped out when an earthquake struck in Turkey and Syria, when migrants were trapped between two 30-foot walls at the U.S.-Mexico border, when war broke out in Sudan, and more. I invite you to learn more about AFSC’s humanitarian relief efforts in 2023 – efforts made possible through the generosity of the AFSC community. I also want to thank you for the role you play in working for the systemic change we so urgently need to build a more just, peaceful, and sustainable future.
Wishing you a happy, healthy holiday season.
In peace, |
