Dear John,
Another incredible year is coming to an end, and now is the time to reflect on all the remarkable progress you've helped make for farmed animals.
Here are just a few of the milestones your compassion has made possible this year:
- Subway México and Mercy For Animals collaborated to produce a plant-based version of the company's iconic chicken teriyaki sub. The sub debuted in more than 780 restaurants across Mexico, and sales are strong!
- After outreach from Mercy For Animals, six states in India effectively banned cruel confinement of mother pigs in crates. Combined with last year's bans, this will result in protections for around 1.5 million pigs.
- Countries around the world are planning massive efforts to address climate change. We are ensuring that animals are not left out of the conversation. From marching in the streets of New York to getting our message in front of the United Nations, global decision-makers are hearing us loud and clear.
Susan Lane, our global senior vice president of philanthropy, would like to share an exciting update with you about how you can help animals even more!
