On Wednesday, February 19, a federal court ruled in favor of justice in our longstanding case Doe v. Wolf, declaring the cruel ways CBP detains people in its Tucson Sector unconstitutional. Though CBP’s problems go back decades, the Trump administration has shown a relentless commitment to infusing more cruelty into our immigration system, with the aim of discouraging people in impossible situations from seeking safety and a better life here.
