“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)
Dear friends,
As we approach the end of the year, world events in 2024 have left many people anxious. But what great words of comfort from Paul, God’s servant who knew what it was to suffer for Christ while rejoicing at the same time! Our reason to rejoice is because we know the Lord Jesus and that we are the bearers of His Good News.
As we bid farewell to 2023, we invite you to rejoice with African Enterprise. Under God, through our stratified evangelism method, our national teams were able to share the gospel in many cities across of Africa.
This last quarter alone, over four million people were reached with the gospel and 63,108 people heeded Christ’s call to salvation.
These are not just figures, but God’s children that He has brought into His kingdom by grace through faith in Christ. God is at work in people’s hearts through His Spirit.
People turning to Jesus like this is a culmination of fervent prayers and diverse mission activities grounded in the gospel. Hundreds of churches were empowered and inspired to articulate the message of Jesus and nurture believers - and that is thanks to your generosity and prayers.
May the Lord bless you and your loved ones.
In Christ,
Simba Musvamhiri
CEO, African Enterprise Australasia
** A fabric of faith: Esther’s dream and God’s faithfulness
------------------------------------------------------------
For 48 years, Esther Phiri has lived a mostly difficult life. Born in 1975 in the eastern province of Zambia, Esther was unable to attend school due to her family’s poverty. This left her with no education or chance to gain a skill set to generate income. She was only 16 years old when her family decided to marry her to a man named Rodgers, and the life that followed was full of serious, heartbreaking challenges.
However with the help and support of African Enterprise (AE), Esther now has the chance to turn her life in a different direction.

** True profit: Stanley finds Jesus in the streets
------------------------------------------------------------
On 21 October 2023, Stanley’s life was changed forever. A former prisoner, Stanley heard the gospel thanks to the Lilongwe Adziwe Yesu mission’s Serve the City cleaning exercise in Malawi.
“The preacher talked about God’s mercy and how everyone qualifies for it. It was hard to believe that I could ever be forgiven for all the wrongs I did,” he told the team after the sermon. “That prompted me to surrender my life to Christ. It was the first time after my arrest that I felt forgiven. I am grateful to God for His mercy and the clean slate He has provided me”, Stanley said joyfully.

** Mission beyond the church doors in Rwanda
------------------------------------------------------------
AE Rwanda runs missions and programs to share the hope-filled news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this country that bears many deep scars.
Kicukiro District is one of three districts in the Rwandan city of Kigali. In July 2023, it was the site of an African Enterprise mission that saw over 850,000 people reached and 2000 people turn to Jesus. Pastor Jonathan’s church was a part of this mission, and in this story, he explains how the training and support they received helped them get outside their church building and reach the community in new ways.
