Giving thanks for good legislation and what's on tap after Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is almost here. I hope everyone has a restful few days lined up with your given or chosen family. It's a great time to take stock of all we've accomplished this year. I'm personally thankful for the hard work of all of you to show up for housing. Because of all of our great advocacy, we're seeing some real change in San Francisco.

For example, thanks to tireless advocacy for state bills like Buffy Wicks's AB2011, we're seeing a proposal for 672 new homes next to Salesforce Park. Thanks for our watchdogs staying on top of the Housing Element, the state is watching to make sure we don't miss deadlines and we actually implement it.

That's all because of you! Let's close out the year strong and make 2024 an even better year for housing!

Membership Appreciation Event 12/6

In the place of our normal happy hour, we're doing a membership appreciation night on Dec 6 at 6 pm at 2140 Market Street. We've got drinks and snacks lined up, so just bring yourself, a friend, and your good cheer to celebrate all the work we've done this year.

This event is free to all members.

Not a member? Join today! Both paid and volunteer options available. Looking for something to volunteer at? Look below:

Constraints Reduction 11/27

Constraints Reduction is back at the Land Use and Transportation Committee on Nov 27th at 1:30 pm. Stay tuned for when it might get heard, as the agenda has not been updated.

Reminder: Public Comment is in-person ONLY for the Board of Supervisors.

If you can make it, lend your voice to implore the committee to pass this crucial legislation to the full board for approval.

Clock's Ticking 11/28

Join us for a candid conversation about what happens next as San Francisco grapples with the required actions and aggressive deadlines outlined in HCD’s review of the city’s housing policies and practices.
