John, Hank has been working tirelessly to combat the recent COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis. However, at every turn, Donald Trump has put the stock market before public health and misled everyday Americans about the risk of COVID-19. When faced with additional scrutiny, Donald Trump’s response was to put Vice President Pence in charge of the response. With the situation getting worse, it’s clear that we need a doctor or scientist in charge of the COVID-19 response -- not a stooge like Pence. Will you sign Hank’s petition today to demand that Donald Trump fire Mike Pence, put a doctor or scientist in charge of the COVID-19 response, and then recuse himself from all further involvement in this crisis? >>
John -- Donald Trump has suggested that COVID-19 could just magically disappear in the spring, that people miraculously get better by “going to work” while sick, and even blamed Barack Obama for the lack of tests (!?). He also disbanded the White House National Security Council's entire global health security unit in 2018! It’s clear that he’s part of the problem, and we need him and Vice President Pence to get out of the way for a real doctor or scientist to lead the charge. Will you sign Hank’s petition calling for Donald Trump to put a doctor or scientist in charge of the response, fire VP Pence, and recuse himself from doing further damage to this public health crisis?
